By its unanimous Decision No. 694/2019 the Chamber of the Hellenic Competition Commission approved, under Greek merger control rules, the proposed acquisition, from the Public Power Corporation Renewables SA, subsidiary company of the Greek Public Power Corporation SA and from the VOLTERRA S.A,  subsidiary company of the Group  J&P AVAX S.A. over companies, VOLTERRA Likovouni Sole SA(SPV) and VOLTERRA K-R Sole SA (SPV), through change in the quality of control, from sole to joint.

According to the decision, the notified transaction does not raise serious doubts as to its compatibility with competition rules in the relevant markets, primarily the broader market of production and wholesale supply of electric energy and specifically the market of production of electric energy from renewable resources.
