Aphroditi P. Adamakou has been graduated from the Faculty of Law of the School of Law, Economics and Political Sciences of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She holds a European Master in Law and Economics (EMLE), from the Universities Erasmus – Rotterdam The Netherlands, Rijkuniversiteit Gent – Belgium  and Universite Paris ΙΧ– Dauphine, France.

Since 1992, she has been practicing law systematically as a member of the Athens Bar Association. She has participated in international scientific conferences on competition law, intellectual property rights protection, commercial law and business law. She speaks English, French and German.
