On 21.06.2019, a complaint was lodged before the Hellenic Competition Commission (HCC) by the company under the name “VIVA PAYMENT SERVICES SINGLE-MEMBER S.A.” against the non-profit legal entity under private law under the name HELLENIC BANK ASSOCIATION” and the companies “DIAS INTERBANKING SYSTEMS S.A.”, “NATIONAL BANK OF GREECE S.A.”, “PIRAEUS BANK S.A.”, “ALPHA BANK S.A.” “EUROBANK S.A.” and “CARDLINK ELECTRONIC TRANSACTION NETWORK MANAGEMENT AND OPERATION SA” (now “SINGLE-MEMBER SOCIETE ANONYME FOR THE MANAGEMENT AND OPERATION OF ELECTRONIC TRANSACTION NETWORKS  CARDLINK”), concerning alleged infringements of Articles 1 and 2 of Law 3959/2011.

Regarding the alleged practices that were not examined in the context of HCC Decision no. 838/2023, the above complaint case is closed without any further action as obviously unfounded on the grounds detailed in the Act, pursuant to Article 37 (2), in conjunction with Article 36 (4) of Law 3959/2011.
