The Hellenic Competition Commission (HCC) is organising a tele-conference on Thursday, February 26, 2026, from 10:30 to 13:30, to present the findings of the Interim Report of its sector inquiry into Bank Deposits.
This event is part of the public consultation opened on the Interim Report and the HCC's public invitation to all interested parties to share their views and comments.

During the online public consultation, the HCC will present the key findings of the sector inquiry, which focuses on the conditions of competition in the market for bank deposits as well as on the parameters affecting the setting of interest rates, with a view to identifying possible distortions and to submitting proposals to promote competition in the market to the benefit of depositors (households and businesses). The event will be attended, among others, by representatives of institutional sectoral bodies, the Bank of Greece, consumer associations and academics, contributing to a fruitful public dialogue. Participants will have the opportunity to raise questions and provide comments.
